The Weekend Project Principle
So, I’m lucky to have a few machine learning and web development certificates, but I’ve noticed a trend recently that there’s a far better strategy to follow. Perhaps it’s best to avoid my mistakes.

Ever since coming to Cape Town to study, I wanted to see some must-sees, so my friends helped me set up a bucket list. Near the top of the list is Keurboom Park, since it’s right next to me and the perfect adventure for the next loadshedding (a scheduled electricity shut-off).
I did an internship this past holiday at a start-up. Pure fun, I tell ya; but besides the programming challenges and debugging marathons it gave a glimpse into how personalities merge, how leadership can galvanize a team’s resolve to keep at a problem through irritating bouts of being stuck, and gave me a full view of how I treat people with massively different perspectives than myself.
I recently did an IQ test for a job, and now have good evidence that my humor suits me.

In high school, I avoided television like it was the plague; I still do, but Anime is an art and exception that I’ve come to appreciate. It certainly is not a habitual pleasure of my taste, but it’s not worth being disregarded either.
Given that each animation is special, I retracted my attempt to rate them. Each was a 5/5 while watching them, and deserves full attention individually.
I originally learned about hypothesis testing in STA2004F, where it was touted as a “boring” section in the course. It turns out to be a useful way to look at problems and try to get some order out of chaos.
Covid took quite a toll on students when it first showed in 2020 - my matric year, in fact; but left us experienced in life online. We had to work online, study thoroughly with only laptops as our guides, and over time learn to enjoy the long emails and zoom hangouts; a few, myself included, learned to study independently with the trove of resources online.
